Emotionally Mute and Numb

Do you ever have it happen where you are working on a project like gangbusters - full of ideas and energy - and then, all of a sudden, you poop out?

I hit the wall on Sunday with my art. All of a sudden, my ideas dried up. I felt listless and tired.

I suppose this is part of the creative process - the rejuvenation part. It's just that I hate having to go through it. I feel like so much time is passing without accomplishing anything.

blah

And what's worse is that I can't adequately describe how I'm feeling. I've never been articulate about my feelings and emotions anyway, but I feel particularly mute right now.

Time for two things: clean-up and instant gratification. I've kind of been feeling that way, myself, this week, and looked around to realize that a) my sewing/drawing area is a mess, and b) everything is taking so effing long to complete and there are at least 4 unfinished projects laying around. You've been moving, so I'm guessing your crafty area looks like a bomb went off. I propose we look into new neat-o organization contraptions for the craft crap, and pick a project that can be completed in one morning. Even with an urchin clawing at the legs. Like making a box to stick urchins in.

Heading down to the cakeshop of aggers and sitting at the table of blah with you. Where's the chocolate wench?

And you are right - bombs look like they've hit the whole house! I have the 3-day weekend off. Hopefully I can make some headway...
